IMMIGRATION.
To (he Editor of the Evenin'/ Star. Sir -As the question of immigration null in all probability lie brought before the tlencral Assembly for discussion, will you allow me to suggest, through your columns, the advisability of convening a public meeting at the Theatre, at an early date, of all classes—the unemployed and the employed, the funnel's and employers of labor in general ; Paul that the committee that was lately appointed to investigate the petition of tile unemployed be also invited to attend or to furnish the conveners of such meeting with a copy of the evidence taken by that committee at its sittings, and upon which they based their report.
