MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day, (Before His Worship the Mayor.) DRUNKENNESS. Jane M‘Beith was fined 40s, with the alternative of four days imprisonment. MINOR OFFENCES. Joseph Cairncvoss, for allowing the chimney of his house to take lire, was fined 5s ; and a similar penalty was impose 1 on John Quinn, for driving an unlicensed cah. Jas. M'Ferrew, for driving across the footpath, was hned 10s and coats, and a charge of allowing impure water to flow on to Filleul street was dismissed. ASSAULT. Hall v, Naylon, and Nay lon v. Hall and
another, wore dismissed for non-appearance.
