Carr, who has been pronounced by the Australian and New Zealand Press as the “ Prince of Mesmerists. ” The experiments will include the highest order of Phreno-Mesmeric, Electro-Biologi-cal, and Electro-Psychological phenomena. The manifestations will he highly dramatic. The subjects will be made to represent soldiers marching off to battle, singing while they march some stirring melody ; the stage will represent an imaginary fort, and ami they will be made by the operation to pass through the varied phases of Battle, the night’s Bivouac, the Reconnoitre, the Assault, Conquest, and Retreat; Burial of the Dead with military honors, &e.
