MAYOR’S COURT.

This Day, (Before His Worship the Mayor.) •DRUNKENNESS. Robert Gray, Peter Grenuan, and John Duff, were each fined 10s, MINOR OFFENCES, Henry Hudson, for fighting in the Octagon this morning, was fined 40s and costs. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. Joseph Ellison, for allowing cattle to wander, was fined 7s fid and costs ; and the charge of allowing impure water to How on to Rattray street, preferred against John Welsh, was dismissed. Wm. Work was fined 2s fid and costs, for riding across the footpath in Serpentine Avenue, BREACH OE THE LICENSING ORDINANCE. On the matter of the Police v. Collins being called on, his Worship said that he thought tho best course for him to pursue under the circumstances was to remit the matter for the consideration of the Licensing Bench.
