This Day. (Before His Worship the Mayor.) DRUNKENNESS, Samuel Brown was lined 10s and James Weymiss had his bail forfeited. OBSCENE Edmund V, Godso was fined 40s and costs for this offence. THROW!NO TOBACCO TO PRISONERS. James Wilkins was charged with delivering tobacco to the prisoners working at the botanical gardens. The charge was fully proved proved by Sergt. Ferguson, one of the warders of the goal, aud the prisoner was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment with hard labor, he not being able to pay the fine of L3O imposed.
