WASTE LAND BOARD.

This Dav, The Waste Land Board met at noon to-day. Present —The Commissioner of Waste Lands, Messrs Reid and Hughes. James Reid’s letter was read. David Andrew’s application was postponed. Walter Millar’s application to purchase 100 acres of land for Henry Adams was received. The letter of Walter Millar, recommending the withdrawal of portion of blocks 8 and 10, Hill End District, from the goldfields, for sale, was referred to the Government, The plan of block 10, Tuapeka East, was

approved, and several sections at Wetherstone’s township, were recommended to the Government for sale. Valuations for improvements to be allowed. The plan of the town of Fortrose, Toi Tois Harbor, was approved, and the upset price of L 5 per section, was agreed to. The sale te take place at the next quarterly sale.
