EVENING SCHOOL.

To the Editor of the Evening Star. Sir, —Permit ms to make a few remarks on a subject which though not exciting any public attention, is nevertheless an object of desire to many persons : I allude to the establishing of evening classes during these winter evenings. It is doubtless true that there are at present many night classes in the town, but these are either on special subjects, or the charges are too high to render them popu’ar. What I wish to see is this .- a good night school teaching the branches ordinarily taught in a grammar school.
