[FROM OUR OWN CORKESTONLENT.] Hokitika, May 18, 2.13 p.m. At the Criminal Sessions, Francis Hubert Mcrphcy, the bailiff for embezzlement. was sentenced to two years’ hard labor ; James Conneran, for an indecent assault, to eighteen months’ hard labor ; Mary Bullock, for an assault with intent to do bodily harm, three months’ hard labor. Her husband agrees to givo LSO compensation and pay costs of suit. Arrived. —Dunedin, from Dunedin.
