NOTICE is hereby given, that the City Council of Dunedin has decided to take a Vote of the Ratepayers of the City on Monday next, the 23rd instant, in order to obtain an expression of opinion with regard to the important question of the future Supply of Gas to the City. The vote will be by ballot, and the following three questions will be submitted : Ist. Are you in favor of building Gas Works ? 2nd, Are you in favor of purchasing the present Works (if obtainable) for the sum of L 22,000 ? 3rd.
