She left Hobson’s Bay, at 2 p.m. on the 9th, passed Port Phillip Heads at 5 p.m. and Cape Schanck at 7 p.m. the same day, and Swan Island at 8 p.m. on the 10th She experienced fine weather during the passage, and made the S.W. Cape at 8 p.m. on the 14th. Left Bluff Harbor yesterday afternoon, and arrfvcd in Port this morning. The schooner James Paxton, in crossing the -Riverton bar on Wednesday last, met with a rather serious accident, owing to the wind suddenly falling light, she struck heavily, and so strained herself that on the passage across she leaked so much as to damage a considerable portion of her cargo.
