BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. ARRIVED. Lyttelton : May 3,10.5 a.m., Airedale, from Wellington. The steamer Charles Edward has taken up her old coasting trade again, after her mishap at Martin’s Bay. The Comerang has been altered at Auckland, and now runs with increased speed. The following vessels sailed from the Port to-day Lord Ashley, for Northern Ports, at 2 p.m. ; the Warrior Queen, ship, for London, at 3 p.m. ; Jessie Readman, ship, for Lyttelton, at 4 p.m. ; and the Rangitoto, for Melbourne via Northern Ports, at 4 p.m. As the Lord Ashley sailed the friends of the volunteers on board at the Port turned out and gave them many hearty cheers. The ships in harbour also showed respect by displaying their bunting and dipping their ensigns as they passed. A salute was fired with precision by the Naval Brigade on shore also several guns from Goldie’s battery aud the ship Warrior Queen.
