To the Editor of the Evening Star. Sir—ln your report of the case Millar v, Crawford, yesterday, your reporter made a mistake in describing the document prepared by me a “specification.” It should have been a “detailed bill of quantities,” upon the fly-leaf of which, to the best of my recollection, was drawn the rough plan of the premises, showing the amount of light and ventilation so necessary in a surgery, and for which alteration a sum of twenty-five pounds appeared in the estimate.—l am, &c.
