MAILS CLOSE— For Oamaru, per p.s. Wallace, on Tuesday, the 19 th inst., sit 8.45 a.m. Per s.s. Tararua on Tuesday, the 19th lust., as under— For India, China, Ceylon, Singapore, &c., at 12 noon. For Melbourne, Australian Colonies, and Southland at 1.30 p.m. N.B.—No mails for the United Kingdom will be made up by this steamer as she cannot be expected to reach Melbourne in time for the P. and O. Company’s steamer. For Oamaru, per p.s. Wallace, on Friday, the 22ind inst., at 8.45 a.m. For registered letters and newspapers, one hour previous.
