RIFLE MATCH.

The return match between the West Taieri Volunteers and Waikari Rangers, came off yesterday at the ranges of the latter. The first match was fired at West Taieri on the 23rd ult., and resulted in the defeat of the town company by 18 points. This time, although again defeated, the majority of their opponents was a very small one indeed. The ranges were 400, 500, and 600 yards ; seven shots at each range. It will be seen from the scores, which we append,, that Volunteer Frazer, of the Waikari Rangers, was the highest scorer, with 69 ; and Volunteer Key, of the same company, next, with 63
