MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor and A. J. Willis, Esq.,J.P.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY, Thomas Robb and Eliza Brown, on bail, charged with being drunk and disorderly, forfeited their bail. Robert Dalliraore was tim'd 40s, or seven days; Ann Sherry, L 5. or fourteen days ; James Henry George, L 5, or fourteen days; C. H. Donelly, 10s, or twenty-four hours. William Ruddock was remanded for twenty-four hours; hail was accepted in LlO. Harriet Meagher and Ellen Maitland were fined 10s, or twentyfour hours. SHOPLIFTING. Aim Hardy, for stealing a pair of boots from the shop of George Prictor, was sentenced to six weeks’ imprisonment. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. The following fines were imposed for the offences stated James Muir, allowing two horses to wander in the streets, os each and costs ; James Briggs, leading a horse across a footpath, 2s Gd 1 J. E. Attwood, neglecting to keep his premises clean, 5s and costs ; Benjamin Willoughby, allowing water to fiow across a footpath, 10s and costs.
