This Day. (Before his Worship the Mayor.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. Peter Lyal for being drunk and disorderly was flned 10s or 24 hours’ imprisonment ; Mary Ann Harris, 10s or 24 hours. CHARGE OF STEALING, James Christy, charged with stealing a chest of tea, was remanded for seven days, CHARGE OF RECEIVING STOLEN GOODS. Phillip Ashton charged with receiving tea
knowing it to be stolen, was remanded for seven days. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. Andrew Craig for permitting four cows to wander in the streets, was fined 7s 6d each and costs.
