P*ter Treston, for disorderly conduct, was fined 20s, or twenty-four hours' imprisonment ; William Hamilton, for drunkenness, 30s, or twenty-four hours; Charles W. M'Ewan, using obscene language in public, L 3, or seven days’ imprisonment; Alexander Ferri'W, for drunkenness, 20s, or forty-eight hours; James M'Lean, 10s, or twenty-four hours. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. Robert M.‘George, for driving with insufficient reins, was fined 20s and costs ; James Anders- m for obstructing alootpth by al owing his horse to remain across it, 2s 6d ami costs. ASSAULT CASES. Young v. F rah am, 0«org8 v. Cooper, and Cooper v. George were di-missed for nonappearance.
