The profitable results of the working of this Society up to the present time hare induced the belief that a new Society formed upon the same basis would bo a favorite both with investors and borrowers. After' mature consideration it has been determined, in place of establishing a new Society, te offer to the public a New Series of Shares in the existing Society. The chief advantage sought by that method is ECONOMY IN WORKING. The interests of the two Series ol Shares will be distinct, but they cannot clash, and by placing them under the management of one Committee, and dividing between them, in proper proportions, the expenses of tha Society, a very decided saving will be secured, and the winding up of each Series of Shares accelerated. Shares, L6O. Subscriptions, 5s per share per month. Entrance fee, ss. First subscriptions to be payable on Friday, 25th February inst. For Prospectus and Form of Application for Shares, apply at the office of the undersigned, Temple Chambers, Princes street. J. John Hirlop, Esq. Capt. Dickie. T. M. Wilkinson, Esq. J. Winter, Esq. G. S. Brodrick, Esq. J. Davie, Esq. TRUSTEES : J. A. Walcott, Esq. P. 0. Neill, Esq. TREASURER: A. Garrick, Esq. SOLICITORS : Messrs Howokth k Hodgkins. BANKERS : Bank of Australasia. SECRETARY pro tent. : W. Oram Ball. Office : Exchange Chambers,, Princes street. The satisfactory results which have attended the operations of “ The New Zealand Building and Mutual Investment Society,” during the past six years, have raised the shares to such a value that non-shareholders have experienced groat difficulty in obtaining advances upon terms beneficial to themselves. The Provisional Directors have therefore considered that the present rime is an exceedingly favorable one for starting a new Society, upon the same principles as have hitherto proved so successful in the working of the present one. The experience gained during the existence of the parent Society, ami the recent legislative enactments on the subject, justify the Directors in fixing the Shares at L6O and making advances upon the security’ of the Shares of Members, provision for which will be made in the Rules. Prospectuses and Forms of Application for Shares, can be obtained of W. ORAM BALL, Princes street.
