THE “TIMES” OF 1798.

To the Editor of the Evening Etar. Sir—l site in to-night’s Star you have noticed that “ A copy of the Timex newspaper of October 3, " 1708, has lately been presented to the Kelson Museum.” About ten months ago I presented a copy of the same date to the Otago Museum, through Mr Pnrdie ; so I think that if you will kindly give publicity to it, perhaps many of your readers who would like to see it would have an opportunity of doing so by visiting our Provincial collection of things, well worth anyone’s spare time and trouble. Hoping I have not intruded on your valuable space—l am, &c., Joseph S. Welch. Grange street, Dunedin, 11th Feb., 1870.
