[FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] [Tlie following was published by us as an “ Extra ” to-day ;—] ! Cromwell, Saturday. The find of the Aurora Company was taken out of the cut near the prospecting shaft. A leader, three indies in thickness, lias been found running out of the back wall and dipping into the bench. In some places the stone runs from 25 to 50 per cent, of gold. The extent of the leader will not bo known till the lower bench is taken out, which will be early next week. The company will wash up not later than Friday. The specimens are excellent, but until the bench is opened out, nothing definite regarding the extent of the lead 'can be ascertained.
