The satisfactory results which have attended the operations of “ The New Zealand Building and Mutual Investment Society,” during the past six years, have raised the shares to such a value that non-shareholders have experienced great difficulty in obtaining advances upon terms beneficial to themselves. The Provisional Directors have therefore considered that the present time is an exceedingly favorable one for starting a new Society, upon the same principles aa have hitherto proved so successful in the working of the present one. The experience gained during the existence of the parent Society, and the recent legislative enactments on the subject, justify' the Directors in fixiug the Shares at L6O and making advances upon the security’of the Shares of Members, provision for which will be made in the Rules.
