The Mayor’s Court. — The only business traasm ted at this Court to-day was confined to “drunk and disonbrly.” U. M'Kochnie, for this offence, was tin d LI, or fourteen days’ imprisonment; S. Wardyvas fined ss, or twenty-four hours’ imprisonment; S. Austin, an old offender, was fin d L‘2, or fourteen days’ imprisonment; and C. M‘Donald, again-t whom were twenty previous convictions recorded, was fined 1.5, or fourteen day's’ imprisonment. The presiding magistrates were E. M'Glashas. and W. H. Reynolds, Esqrs., J.P.’s. Court Time.— After the business at the Mayor’s Court had been disposed of this morning, Mr M'Glashan stated that as during the indisposition of his V orship the Mayor, the Bench would have to bo filled by Justices of the Peace, living at a distance from town, the time (10 o’clock) was inconvenient, and be thought if it was made 11 o’clock it would bo Letter for all p-vrtim-.
