MAYOR’S COURT.
This Dat. (Before T. Birch, Esq., R.M., and Captain Fraser, J.P.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. Hugh Johnston, for this offence, was fined ss, or 24 hours’ imprisonment; James Jefferson, an old offender, was fined L2, cf seven days’ imprisonment. STEALING FROM A DWELLING-HOUSE. S. Howell, a respectable-looking girl, was charged with having stolen one gold ring and a gold pin, the property of Mr T. Collins. Sentenced to three weeks’ imprisonment. FIGHTING IN THE STREETS. Joseph Mead and Richard Pattan were charged with fighting in Maclaggan street. They were each fined 10s, or 24 hours’ im* prisonment.
