MAYOR’S COURT.
This Day. (Before T. Birch, Esq., R.M., and W. H. Reynolds, Esq., J. P.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. W. Auld (out on bail) was charged with this offence. 'There was no appearance, and his bail was forfeited. T. Hyburn, for a similar offence was dismissed with a caution. Annie Mansfield, an habitual offender, was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. LETTING OFF FIREWORKS. Ten parties, including a lady, were charged with having on the night of Hew Year’s Day, discharged fireworks in the public streets contrary to law. They were each fined 2s fid and costs. CAB LICENSES. T. Hill and R. Twin were each fined 5s and costs, for plying for hire without a license, AN APPLICATION. Mr Harris made application to the Bench for a rc-hearing, of the case recently tried, Cohen v. Scott. After the grounds upon which-the the application was made had been consi iered, a re bearing was granted.
