ROSLYN AND DUNEDIN.
To the Editor of the Evening Star. Sir, —l beg most cordially to second “ Euphrates’ ” letter about the dangerous state of the main road between the Roslyn Toll and the Old Cemetery, and about the advisability of having a strong fence erected without delay ; but in addition I would propose that a footpath be erected on the high side of the road, for the convenience of the large number of pedestrians and the protection of females, the earth from which would be available for widening the road, which is very much required. Said footpath would be a great boon, und would cost not more than L 15.—1 am, &c., Indus, Roslyn, Jan. 6, 1870.
