ANNUAL INSPECTION, COLONEL HARINGTON will inspect the various Companies as under, when all members are required to attend. Officers Commanding Companies will sec that the members fall in sharp at the hour named. 7th (Friday), City Guards and Scottish Companies, in front of the Custom House, at 7 p.m. v Bth (Saturday), Five men each from the companies, at 6 a.m., for rifle practice ; Artillery and Naval Company’s shot and shell practice, at 5 p.m. 10th (Monday), East and West Taieri will be inspected «t Outram, at 7 p.m. sharp. 11th (Tuesday), Rifle practice, East and West Taieri, at 6 a.m. Bruce Rifle’s, inspection at 7 p.m. 12th (Wednesday), Bruce Rifles, rifle practice at G a.m.—Port Chalmers Naval at 7 p.m. I3th (Thursday), Port Chalmers Naval at Rifle Range, at 6 a.m. Naval Companies will be inspected in front of the Custom-House, at 6.30 p.m. The Volunteer Force will form for battalion drill at 7 p.m. 15th (Saturday), Oamaru Rifle Rangers will muster for inspection, at 5.30 , a.m., at the Drill-shed. At the inspection of each Company, the men for the target practice will ho named. The Companies’ Roll Books will be sent in for inspection to the Militia Office by noon on Thursday, the 13th iust.
