Advertisements received too late for Classification. Militia and Volunteer Office, Dunedin, 3rd January, 1870. OTAGO VOLUNTEERS. ANNUAL INSPECTION. COLONEL HARRINGTON will inspect the various Companies as under, when all members are required to attend. Officers Commanding Companies will sec that the members foil in sharp at the hour named. sth January (Wednesday), Dunedin Artillery and North Dunedin Rifles, in front of the Custom House, at 7 p.m. Gth (Thursday), South District and Wakari Rangers, at the Riilo Range, Kaikorai, at 7 p. m. 7th (Friday), City Guards and Scottish Companies, in front of the Custom House, at 7 p.m. Bth (Saturday), Five men each from the following companies, at 6 a m., for rifle practice; Artillery and Naval Company’s shot and shell practice, at 5 p.m. 10th (Monday), Eqst and West Taieri will be inspected at Outram, at 7 p.m. sharp. Hth (Tuesday), Rifle practice, East and West Taieri, at G a. in. Bruce Rifle’s, inspection at 7 p.m. 12th (Wednesday), Bruce Rifle’s, rifle practice at G a.m, 13th (Thursday), Naval Companies will be inspected in front of the Custom House, at 6.30 p.m. The Volunteer Force will form for inspection at 7 p.m. 15th (Saturday), Oamaru Rifle Rangers' will muster for inspection, at 5.30 a.m., at the Drill-shod. At the inspection of each Company, the men for the target practice will be named. The Companies’ Roll Books will lie sent in for inspection to the Militia Office by noon on Thursday, the 13th insc.
