Omeo, on Thursday, the 30th instant, at 10.30 . a.m. For Southland, per s.s. Lord Ashley, on Thursday, the 30th inst., at 1.30 p.m. For Timam and Akaroa, per s.s. Beautiful Star, on Thurasday, the 30th inst., at 3.30 p.ra. For Oamaru, Timam, and Akaroa, per s.s. Wainui, on Thursday, the 30fch inst., at 4.30 p.m. For registered letters, money orders, and newspapers, one hour previous. Mails for country districts, which in usual course would close on Saturday, the Ist Jan. at 6 a.m, will close at 7 p.m. on Friday, the 31st instant. ARCH. BARR, Chief Postmaster. Chief Post Office.
