Letters from Southern provinces and country districts containing applications for tickets must be accompanied by cheque or post-office order for the amount, ®r, if money is enclosed, should be registered, and tickets will bo forwarded by return post. Ten per cent, of the gross proceeds of the sale of tickets will be retained by the Honorary Treasurer, Mr Von Stunner, who has kindly consented to act in that capacity, and will be handed over to the Committee of the Thames Hospital on behalf of the funds of that institution immediately after the drawing of the Prizes, which will take place under the supervision of a committee to be appointed by the members subscribing, then present. A list of the successful numbers will be published. Two gentlemen will be appointed by the Hospital Committee to audit the accounts on behalf of the Hospital.
