MAYOR’S COURT.

This Day. (Before T. Birch, Esq., K.AL, and Oapt. Fraser, Esq., J.P.) DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. David Dyer and Edward Campbell were charged with creating a disturbance, by lighting in the vestibule of the theatre on Saturday night last. From the evidence it appeared that Campbell attacked Dyer without provocation. Dyer was discharged, and Campbell fined 10s, or twenty-four hours’ imprisonment.—John Corbell, charged with being drunk and disorderly, was fined 10s, or twenty-four hours’ imprisonment. ILLEGAL DETENTION OF CLOTHES, Boxwell v. Hall. —The plaintiff charged defendant with illegally detaining several articles of wearing-apparel, his property. — Judgment for plaintiff, L 5 and costs, or the goods to be given up. HAWKING WITHOUT A LICENSE. Peter Pain, for hawking poultry without a license, was fined 10s.
