THE FIRST FLOWER SHOW of the Season will be held in the Post Office Hall, on Friday, 17th Dec., 1869. Intending competitors are requested to comply with the following Rules of Committee : All competitors to forward a list of their intended exhibits to the Secretary two days before the show. All cut flowers for competition to he shown on stands of similar design to those approved by the Committee. Patterns to be seen at Secretary’s, or stands of Society’s patterns to be obtained from Couston, Rattray street, price Is 6d, 2s, and 2s 6d. No exhibits for competition will be received after 10 o’clock a.m. Exhibitors are to bring with each exhibit a sealed envelope, with their names plainly written inside. All particulars as to prizes and schedules to be obtained from Secretary. Doors open to members at half-past one o’clock. General public admitted athal-past two. By order of the Committee. T. The days of publication will be Tuesday and Friday, and each paper will contain the news and all matters of interest appearing in the three previous numbers of The Times, which will thus be rendered available, in a cheap and convenient form, for persons residing abroad or in the Colonies.
