WITH a view to assisting the Funds of the DIGGERS’ HOSPITAL, at the Thames, it has been determined to submit to the public the subjoined List of MINING SHARES in some of the best Claims on the Thames Goldfield, on which all calls up to date will be paid. . , . Applications for tickets will be received in Auckland, by the Honorary Secretary, Mr William Jambs Dalton, at his Offices, High street; by Messrs Dalton & Holmes, Grahamstown, Thames; and by Mr Hannah, Dunedin. Letters from Southern provinces and country districts containing applications for tickets must be accompanied by cheque or post-office order for the amount, or, if money is enclosed, should be registered, and tickets will be forwarded by return post. Ten per cent, of the gross proceeds of the sale of tickets will be retained by the Honorary Treasurer, Mr Von Sturmer, who has kindly consented to act in that capacity, and will be handed over to the Committee of the Thames Hospital on behalf of the funds of that institution immediately after the drawing of the Prizes, which will take place uiuler the supervision of a committee to be appointed by the members subscribing, then present.
