In the absence of sales we quote Adelaide wheat nominally at 6s 3d. For feeding grains there is scarcely any inquiry; the offering by auction of the cargoes of maize, ex Tower Hill and Hector, resulted in the disposal of the Cirgo by the former vessel, all more or less damaged by sea water, at from 3s to 3s 10Jd, according to condition. The shipment ex Tower Hill was withdrawn, the biddings not being up to the idea of value entertained by holders. Privately no sales are mentioned; the price is quite nominal at 4s to 4s 3d. Oats may he quoted at 4s to 4s 3d. Candles continue to be asked for at 10ijd, without meeting with sellers, and a slight advance on this rate has also been refused, imperial's being careless about quitting at anything under lid. Kerosene is a good deal talked about, and several enquiries have been experienced during the clay. We hear of sales of common brands having been made at 2s. Among the [arrivals telegraphed are the Marquis of Argyle and Blairmore, from Hong Kong ; the Thomas Fletcher, from New York; and the Robert Passenger, from Mauritius. The balance of the cargo of teas, ex Isabella Brown, will be offered for sale by auction on Monday.
