THE DUNEDIN PRESBYTERY.
To the Editor of the Evening Star. Sir, —lam astonished that no report of a recent meeting of the Presbytery of Dunedin has been given, either in your paper, or in .Daily Times. Several important things were done, of public interest; and why you should not report the proceedings of a public bod}-, I know not. Mr Scrymgeour was restored to his office as a minister. This is not reported by ithe] public press, although his suspension was. North-East Valley has been sanctioned as a preaching station. I wish you would send a reporter to these public meetings, and let me and others of your readers know in time of what is being done. —Yours, Z. [Had the Presbytery informed us of its sitting, a reporter would have been present. —Ed, E.S. ]
