SUPREME COURT.
SITTING IN BANKRUPTCY. This Day. His Honor Judge Ward held a siting in Bankruptcy this morning. The following is a summary of the business transacted : FINAL EXAMINATIONS. A discharge, after final examination, was granted in the case of Peter Ramsay. Final orders were granted in the cases of W. French, Simeon Isaacs, and Robert Neale. The cases of John Jones, Edwin Pratt, Christian E. Petersen, and Reuben Thomas, were ordered to stand over to the 20th inst. Adjudications of bankruptcy were given in the cases of Thomas Hastie, August Schwarck, and Robert Baxter. The applications for complete execution in the cases of Leon Whittington and Joel Bolton, were adjourned to December 20th. In the case of Thomas Donlon, an app’ication for a final order and discharge, was opposed by Mr Haggitt, and supported by Mr E. F. Ward.—Mr Haggitt applied that the bankrupt should be prosecuted under the 309 th section of the Bankrupt Act, he having by his course of action brought himself under clauses 9 and 10. —From the evidence it appeared that he had bought goods of Messrs Lange and Thoneman to the amount of LSO, notwithstanding he was negotiating the sale of his business.—Proceedings were ordered to be taken. The final examination of Henry Ellis was ordered to stand over to the 20th of Decepiber,
