The sale of property at the auction room of Mr E. de Carle was well attended to-day. The following are the prices realised : Allotment 7, block 39, W and J Scanlan, L6O; lotß, A M'llroy, LSO; lots 9, 10, 11, Briscoe and Co, Lsoeach ; lot 12, W Kennedy, LSO, All the above lots the present purchasers had previously paid very high prices for the leases, and held them at a ground rent of 20s per annum for 14 years. The freehold of allotment 7, block 41, Mr Cullen, Ll6O ; lot 12, block 41, H S Fish, L 140; lot 17, block 46, Dr Alexander, L 195 ; lot 49, block 4, Waikouaiti, 52 acres 3 roods, Dr Alexander, 22s 6d per acre; lot 48, block 2, 24} acres, H S Fish, 22s 6d per acre; lot 49, block 2, 28j acres, H S Fish, 20s per acre ; lot 11, block 13, Clutha, H S Fish, 30s per acre. The property in King street was withdrawn at L 275 that being the highest offer. A few allotments at Barfield were sold at from Lll to Ll7 each, and the remainder were withdrawn for future sale.
