This Day. (Before A,C. Strode, Esq., R.M.) DRUNKEN KS3. John M‘Don ild and William J. Williams were each fined Id's for this offence. —Matilda Hancock and Margaret Itebin on old offenders, were each fined L 5, with the alternative of fourteen da\s. MINOR OETBNCB. William J. Williams and A. M'Tlroy were charged with breaking a pane of glass at the City Buffet Hotel, Princes street. The defendants, who were on bail, did not anpear, neith r did the prosecutor, and the case was accordi-gly dismissed. Tho Sergean f -Major explained that the breaking of ttio yla-s was the re-Mt of a disturbance b tween tho defendants. The Magistrate advised the po ice officer to mention th- matter to the Licensing Bench when M Tlroy next applied for a license.
