Williams were each fined Id's for this offence. —Matilda Hancock and Margaret Itebin on old offenders, were each fined L 5, with the alternative of fourteen da\s. MINOR OETBNCB. William J. Williams and A. M'Tlroy were charged with breaking a pane of glass at the City Buffet Hotel, Princes street. The defendants, who were on bail, did not anpear, neith r did the prosecutor, and the case was accordi-gly dismissed. Tho Sergean f -Major explained that the breaking of ttio yla-s was the re-Mt of a disturbance b tween tho defendants. The Magistrate advised the po ice officer to mention th- matter to the Licensing Bench when M Tlroy next applied for a license.
