Provincial Government Notice. BOTANIC GARDENS. The Government has agreed to offer a premium of LlO for the best design for laying out the grounds for the B tame Gardens. Tracings of the grounds can be obtained at the Provincial Treasury, Competitors must draw their plans to a scale of two inches to a chain, and indicate the spot where specimen trees are to be permanently placed, having due regard to the soil and exposure host suited for each plant. Designs to be lodged with the Provincial Treasurer on or before Monday, the 18th November, 1869. Corporation Notice. CITY OF DUNEDIN, TENDERS will be received at the Town Clerk’s office, Princes street, on or before Wednesday, 20th October, at 2 p.m., for the construction of a Foot Bridge over the Water of Leith.
