Provincial Government Notice. BOTANIC GARDENS.—The Government has agreed to offer a premium of LlO for the best design for laying out the grounds for the B danic Gardens. Tracings of the grounds can be obtained at the Provincial Treasury. Competitors must draw their plans to a scale of two inches to a chain, and indicate the spot where specimen trees are to be permanently placed, having due regard to the soil and exposure best suited for each plant.
