Robert Anderson, for being at an improper distance from his horse and dray, was fined 2s Gd and costs; ami a similar penalty was imposed on George Tilbury, for allowing a horse to wander,—-Robert Cochrane, for driving horses without sufficient reins, was lined 10s and covts ; and for driving on the rvrong side of the road, he was lined 40s and costs.—Tho=. Coloquhoun, for driving horses Avitbouf, sufficient reins, av.is also fined 10s and costa.—Jas. N Ison, for allowing the chimney of his house to take fire, was fined 5s and costs.—David IR-ron was lined 5s and costs for being at an improper distance from his hj rse and dray; and Michael Gorman av;is fi cd 10s ami costs for the same offence. James Colburn Avas fined 2s Gd for the same offence, and Martin Brennan was discharged Avith a caution —John Fletcher, for alloAving coavs to Avander, Avas fined 2s and costs ; and Andrew Craig Avas fined 5s and costs for a similar offence. John Grant was discharged with a caution. ASSAULT. H.vtlcy v. Roy and Hoy v. Hartley Avere withdrawn. The ease of Contts v. Campbell was dismissed for non-appearance.
