(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Invercargill, Saturday, Several parties have left here for Stewart’s Island. The excitement is subsiding. Until further information is obtained from the parties working there, the Island willl not be declared a goldfield. Several specimens that have been tested contained no gold.
