ALARMING NEWS FROM THE WAIKATO. Napier, Monday, 3.30 p.m. The Waikatos are arming. The Militia has been called out at Alexandra. Great uneasiness is felt. Te Kooti and Heu Heu were well received by the King party. A detachment of the 18th, stationed here, has been directed to be ready to proceed to Auckland on the 15th of August. It is the intention of Te Kooti to attack the Friendlies at Tauranga. The King has directed Te Kooti to return by way of Taupo. He refused to do so.
