THE PRICE OF BREAD.

To the Editor of the Eveninq Star

Sir, A majority of the bakers of this town have entered into what I may call the “ Dear Bread League,’’and resolved to charge 3d more for the 41b loaf than it is clear it can be profitably sold at, as there are one or two who still sell it that much under the price fixed upon by the League. Now, Sir. 3d in a 41b loaf is no joke in these times, and so I go in for a " Cheap Bread League” to support those tradesmen only who are willing to sell at a fair profit. Yours, &c., Live and Let Live.
