THE ATHENÆEUM COMPETITION PLANS.
To the Editor of the Evening Star, Sir, —Will you kindly inform me, now the Committee have selected plans for the new Athenajum, marked 44 Economy,” will the architect be allowed by them to alter his design (should he so require) to bring it within the sum of L 2,500 ? If such is allowed, it will be setting aside the 13th clause of their 44 Particulars to Architects.” By inserting the above, you will oblige, sir, Yours truly, A Competitor. Dunedin, July 2nd. 1869.
