BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. (FROM our own correspondents. )f| Wellington, Thursday. The division on Mr Fox’s motion has just taken place—[7.23 p.m.] The Government was defeated by 11 votes. [The above telegram was received last night, too late for publication.] Friday. When the House met, Mr Stafford announced that the Government had resigned, and only held office until the appointment of their successors. Mr Fox said he had been sent for to undertake to form a Ministry. The House adjourned to Tuesday.
