Supreme Court. The Court sat this morning, when the case of Catamore v. Ball was called on, but the issues not being seitled, it was postponed until next session. Presentation. — This morning Mr H. Collier, who has for some time been connected with the Daily 'Times, was presented by several friends with a purse of sovereigns, prior to his leaving for Melbourne by theOmeo. The presentation took place at the Provincial Hotel. Theatrical. —Miss Dolly Green left this afternoon, per s.s. Rangitoto, for Invercargill, where she intends giving a few performances, in a new monologue entertainment written expressly for her, in which she will sustain twenty different characters. We wish her success in her bold undertaking. Street Improvement, —We are glad to notice that the remonstrance of the City Council with regard to Jetty street has had the desired effect. This morning a gang of prisoners commenced repairing the street.
