The rules and weights of the Otago Jockey Club will‘be strictly adhered to, unless when Otherwise specified. Mares and Geldings allowed 31bs. No person to enter a horse unless he he a subscriber of not less than L 3 3s to the funds ; and no person to nominate unless both owner and nominator be subscribers of the said amount. Moreover, no .person to nominate -for more than one owner. Disqualification will ensue on the infringement of this regulation. General entries to 'be 'made : at ‘the Provincial Hotel, Dunedin, previous to 8 pm., on Thursday, Tst March. All entrances and acceptances must 'be in sealed covers, addretesed’to : the Stewards or Secretary, and contain-entrance money, sweepstakrs, description and age of horse, andcolors to be-worn *by the Jockey.
