The Argus of the 12th instant says that : The following are the amounts set apart for the several ex-Mihisters named, on account of their inchoate claims to pensions under the Constitution Act,-viz, Messrs, C. The amounts added together make up tile LIO,OOO which Rad. accumulated at the date of the passing of the Act to Amend the Law relating to the Pensions of Responsible Officers, which act obtained the Royal assent on the 27th of January, 1865. By the terms of the statute* all sums not claimed within a year from the date of the passing of the act, shall be paid into the consolidated revenue. Down till ’ yesterday afternoon the following gentlemen only had claimed and obtained their respective payments, viz. :—Messrs Greeves, 'Martiey, Fellows, Wood, Aspinall, Horne, Parley, Werdon, Michie, Anderson,’ Miller, Mooi-e, and Loader.
