Will make their FIRST APPEARANCE in Dunedin THIS EVENING (WEDNESDAY), 17th JANUARY, AT ST. GEORGE’S HALL, Stuart-street. This Hall has been fitted up expressly for their Performances, with every attention to the Comfort of their Patrons, and with all the apliances available to aid in giving due effect to their various ENTERTAINMENTS. An extensive platform has been erected, and their Stage Fittings will be found elegant and costly. A Cloak Room is provided for Ladies visiting the Reserved Seats, where may be left their Cloaks, Bonnets, &c., and a female attendant will be in waiting—by whom no fee or gratuity is allowed to be accepted. A plan of the seats may be seen, and places secured, at Mr West’s Music Warehouse, Princes -street. It is respectfully suggested that the taking of places during the day will much add to the comfort of the 1 public, as they will be strictly retained during the entire evening. The Entertainment presented this Evening is entitled A DRAWING-ROOM TO LET ! Including Personations of Character, Musical Illustrations, Magical Illusions, &c., &c., as performed by MR AND MRS GEORGE CASE since their arrival in the Colonies before their Excellencies Sir Charles Darling, Sir John Young, Sir Dominick Daly, and Sir George Bowen, and Sir George Grey, with their Ladies and suites. MR GEORGE CASE will perform several Solos on the Violin and Concertina, (including his imitations of the Highland Bagpipes), that he rendered so popular at the Concerts of Mons. Jullien, Hanover Square, Her Majesty’s Theatre, and Exeter Hall, &c., &c. To-morrow Evening (THURSDAY), the DRAWING-ROOM FLOOR will he repeated for the last time but one. Reserved seats os ; unreserved seats, 3s. Children under twelve, half-price ; under three not ■admitted. Doors open at half-past 7, to commence at '8 o’clock. Carriages may be ordered at halfpast ten. OTAGO -BENEVOLENT INSTITUTION.
