The Otago Rifle Association matches commenced this morning at the Kaikori. The Mayor’s Cap was the first prize shot for, and was won by Private W. F. Stevens, of the Naval Brigade ; the remaining prizes were won respectively by Lient. M‘Farland, Corporal Broad, Gunner Fisher, and Gunner Carter, all of the Artillery Regiment.
